When added to compost it accelerates rooting and reduces the risk of fungal diseases.Perlite is a naturally occurring, non-toxic, volcanic rock that has been heated to a high tempreture to produce a lightweight, micro-porous material with a high surface area. DOSAGE : - All ornamental & indoor plants : 50 to 100 gms per plant. - All flowering & outdoor plants : 100 to 150gms per plant. - Kitchen Garden plants : 100 to 200 gms per plant. DIRECTION TO USE : - The perlite can be mixed with a bit of potting soil to keep tall containers from becoming top-heavy, or the perlite can be used by itself as a bottom layer in wide oversize pots.Roots will grow down into the perlite layer whether or not soil is mixed into it. #perlite#cocochips#cocopeat#vermiculite#soil mix#potting mix#succulant soil#hydroponics soil#growing media#ricehusk#organicculture
